Whether in calm seas or rough weather, this mechanical linear drive ensures more precise tacks and gybes, an adjustable response speed, and significantly improved course stability when sailing upwind (Upwind Hold). The drive is approved for sailboats and catamarans up to 45 feet in length and with a maximum displacement of 15 tons, and it flexibly supports both 12 and 24-volt on-board power systems.
