BS 5196 - 3-way power distribution directly on the battery terminal
The Blue Sea BS 5196 MRBF fuse block acts as a distribution hub directly on the battery. Unlike the 5194 model, this block features a common source. This means you connect the block to the positive terminal and can distribute power directly into three separately fused main lines.
Maritime design for highest safety standards
This design drastically saves space and connection cables. The component is ISO 8846 compliant (ignition protected) and features a protective rubber insulation cap that meets ABYC/USCG standards. The tin-plated copper terminals ensure corrosion-free longevity in salty air.
Key benefits at a glance:
- Common source: Distributes an input current to 3 fused outputs.
- Direct mounting: Fastens directly onto a 3/8" (M10) stud.
- High-performance: Up to 300A per circuit (observe max. total load).
- Ignition protected: Ideal for battery compartments in engine rooms.
- Safe and clean: Replaces messy cable stacks at the battery terminal.
